For everyone
Be respectful
Treat captains, travelers, and crew with courtesy. No harassment, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind.
Be honest
Provide accurate profile information. Don't write fake reviews or misrepresent your experience.
Stay safe and legal
No illegal activities on board. Drugs, weapons, and unlicensed commercial activities aren't allowed.
For travelers
Show up on time
Be at the marina at the agreed time. If you're running late, message the captain.
Honor the payment you agreed
SailsSearch doesn't process payments — settle with the captain as you agreed in chat, promptly and in full.
Leave honest reviews
Help other travelers by sharing your real experience — both the highs and any concerns.
For captains
Honor your bookings
Once confirmed, do everything reasonable to deliver the trip as advertised.
Communicate clearly
Reply to traveler messages within 24 hours. Be transparent about route, weather, and pricing.
Maintain your boat
Keep your boat clean, safe, and as described in the listing.
Reporting violations
Tell us when something's wrong
Email info@sailssearch.com or use the report button on profiles. We review every report and take action when needed.
