About this sailing adventure
Seven nights of Italian dolce vita on a Lagoon 46 catamaran. Lemon terraces dropping into the sea, the Faraglioni rising out of deep blue water, colourful houses stacked on the cliffs of Positano. We start in Salerno, sail the Amalfi Coast to Capri and Ischia, and come back through Sorrento and Maiori. The hops are short, 7 to 32 nautical miles a day, so there is plenty of time to swim, walk and eat. Amalfi with its cathedral and old town. A morning swim and lunch in Positano, then across to Capri for the night. A full day on Capri: Marina Piccola, Capri town and Anacapri, viewpoints over the whole gulf. The thermal pools of Poseidon Gardens in Citara Bay on Ischia. Sorrento's old streets, a traditional Italian lunch and limoncello. On the last day we sail back along the Amalfi Coast with a swim stop at Maiori and spend the final evening on board in Salerno. A professional captain sails the boat and a chef cooks on board, with gastronomic evenings and flotilla events along the way.
