β΅οΈ Enrolment is open for the October group of the online yacht theory course IYT Bareboat Skipper! π Start - 12 October π 10 online lessons, 280 β¬ (author's book as a gift) π The first lesson is free What we cover: β’ Safety on board and emergency actions β’ COLREGs (rules for preventing collisions at sea) β’ Yacht design: engine, rudder, sails β’ Handling under engine and marina manoeuvres β’ Sailing basics, tacking and gybing, reefing β’ Navigation, charts, compass, passage planning β’ Pilotage, marks and lights β’ VHF radio communication β’ Meteorology and weather forecasts β’ Preparing the yacht and dinghy, port etiquette π Practice of your choice: β’ 10 days in Barcelona (accommodation not included, we will help you find a place to stay) β’ 7 days in Athens / Mallorca / Ibiza (accommodation on board the yacht) Practice dates are arranged individually.
